Our Classes

  • This training is designed for organizations that want to invest in leadership skills that help create inclusive workplaces that attract and retain top talent while improving overall performance. Beginning with an interactive discussion where Jamie will lay out the building blocks that all leaders need to foster inclusive spaces. Students will have tangible tools and tactics they can implement immediately to ensure they are being as proactive as possible with DEIA in their workplace.

  • A compassionate and trauma-informed approach to leadership is essential for creating healthy workplace cultures. Trauma is prevalent in our world and has an impact on many of the people we interact with, including staff and colleagues. Every organization, from any sector, can benefit from becoming trauma-informed.

Trauma-informed leaders understand and are aware of the impact of trauma in the workplace. And they want to be part of the solution to support those affected by trauma. In this engaging course, your leaders will learn about the key elements of being a trauma-informed leader including taking a caring and compassionate approach to their staff, how to assess and in some cases adjust their ways of interacting, making decisions, and communicating, and how to lead the promotion of trauma-informed practices in the workplace.

  • This experiential, evidence-based course consistently receives outstanding reviews and is regularly selected as one component of our two or three day retreats.

This course is also ideal for succession planning. Participants will utilize the leadership profile to discover which of these competencies they personally fully understand. Participants will also discover which of the 32 competencies they need to develop further, and they will create an action plan to obtain those competencies.

Management/Leadership styles are also discussed in this course as the participant examines the benefits and drawbacks of each style. This is a course that focuses on the qualities of personal awareness and openness to growth that every great leader possesses.

  • Training the Trainer is geared toward individuals involved in developing curriculum, presenting in-house training material, and anyone who oversees the training of new employees. This session, like all of our courses, is available in a variety of lengths based on your organization's needs. Jamie will put together a high-level overview for a shorter class, or provide a multi-day in-depth training or any length in-between. During this highly interactive and exciting course, participants will learn how to effectively deliver meaningful, relevant training. Learning styles, tricks of the trade, and other classroom topics will be discussed. Participants will be given the chance to practice effective classroom styles and receive a toolkit they can use when developing their next training.

  • Hiring and training employees are two of the biggest investments most organizations make. However, with a 10% - 15% annual attrition rate, organizations end up turning over 60% of their entire talent base within four years.

This course starts with an overview of what employee engagement is, how to improve it during each stage of the employment life cycle, and methods to obtain employee feedback. Jamie will highlight how to maximize your potential for retaining your top employees and how to prevent the unnecessary losses associated with attrition. Participants will also be guided through outlining a personalized retention plan based on your organization's needs and workforce demographics.
