Ethical Decision-Making and Risk Management

All organizations face risk, whether it is economic, technological, environmental, or competitive factors. Risk management is a systemic approach to identify, assess, and mitigate threats or uncertainties that can impact an organization. We know that organizations that embrace strategic risk management with ethical decision-making are five times more likely to be successful. Our founder and CEO, Jamie, has a passion for this topic: he has taught this signature class over three hundred times. He has witnessed the impact of this course on organizations that implement the tools and evidence-based techniques he shares.

Course Overview

This experiential, interactive, evidence-based course introduces participants to a practical, step-by-step Ethical Decision-Making Model. Participants learn and apply the sequence of steps required to make ethical decisions that comply with organizational policies and procedures. Participants explore how to apply a “risk-management perspective” to assess a problem, develop an ethical solution, and act in the face of profound stress. Additionally, participants learn to think critically within the range of alternative solutions to a given problem, study the results of their actions, use discretionary time to their advantage, and create a competent “moral imagination” which enhances their ability to make difficult decisions in a variety of circumstances.

As with our other trainings or workshops, TWG customizes the Ethical Decision-Making and Risk Management course to meet the duration and learning outcomes your organization needs.
