Diversity Matters

Organizations that work toward a truly diverse, inclusive, and accessible workplace improve talent retention, successfully recruit top talent, have highly engaged employees, and increase their productivity and overall bottom line. At TWG we offer organizations a wide range of courses covering diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. TWG's experiential and evidence-based courses invite participants to explore ways to create inclusive spaces for all through the lens of cultural competence.

People Leaders

Exceptional people leaders have a clear vision and possess highly attuned emotional intelligence acumen. They know that fostering a collaborative and creative work environment is requisite and they inspire through their willingness to get uncomfortable in the interest of growth. Our selection of courses in this area has been created specifically for people leaders. We provide tools that can be immediately implemented by leaders, from first-time managers to experienced senior executives in organizations of any size.

Exceptional Communication

Exceptional communication skills are the bedrock of successful business practices. Effective communication skills create a positive and productive work environment. They enable us to express our ideas clearly, understand others, and build strong relationships with colleagues and clients. TWG's suite of communication courses provides learner-centric, effective, and engaging training designed to immediately grow individual and organizational messaging, team dynamics, and overall communication acumen.

Ethical Decision-Making and Risk Management

This experiential and interactive course teaches participants how to apply the sequence of steps required to make ethical decisions that comply with organizational policies and procedures. Participants will also learn to apply a risk management perspective and how to use discretionary time to their advantage. Our goal is to provide people with the tools they need to assess a problem, develop an ethical solution and act in the face of profound stress. Our Founder and CEO, Jamie has taught this course over three hundred times and it is his signature class.

  • Jamie brings the ideal balance of authentic vulnerability, inspiring and humorous energy, customized content, and practical applications to every keynote he delivers. Whether it is a conference of 3,500 or the boardroom of a Community-Based Organization, Jamie's messages are profound, human-centric, and motivational. He will work with you to identify the right topic for your event around his specialties in DEIA, Ethics and Risk Management, Communication, and Leadership. Jamie does not shy away from the real issues faced by organizations of every size and is masterful at conveying the message in accessible, dynamic, doable, tangible ways.

  • Using a panel facilitator helps bring your audience multiple points of view adding a deeper perspective to your overall event. Jamie is an experienced and sought-after facilitator due to his expertise in managing groups, bringing people together, and breadth of overall knowledge. He is a "born interviewer" and a genuinely curious person, and his practice of conscious communication is inviting and warm allowing him to facilitate even the toughest of topics. Jamie asks relevant questions and leads conversations towards the goal ensuring the audience gains a full picture of the panel discussion topic.

  • Breakout sessions allow for in-depth discussions during larger events and are shown to highly increase the participation and enjoyment of attendees. Jamie has led hundreds of breakout rooms at conferences, training events, and retreats over the past twenty-five years. He is skilled in helping people understand and dive deeper into a specific piece of the overall event ensuring the "why" and the "how" are fully understood. Attendees will leave his sessions wanting more while also having increased clarity on the breakout session topic and how it relates to their job and organization. He brings humor and candor to every session he leads and invites participants to engage in the conversation; using his expert skills at facilitation and classroom management to improve thoughtful participation.

  • Over twenty-five years, Jamie has facilitated innumerable retreats for executive teams and leadership teams of five to one hundred. Whether at a retreat center on the water or in company-owned spaces, he creates an environment where each person can bring their whole self to the table. He invites participation from everyone present and uses a cadre of methods to bring out the best in people while constantly moving towards the desired outcome or shared vision. His ability to create spaces of comfort and open dialogue is widely lauded.

  • Our Diversity Matters Assessments will help you understand your current state of diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility. While working with our clients we provide a baseline assessment with a thorough analysis of your gaps, risks, challenges, and opportunities. Assessments provide you with actionable recommendations and the support you need to implement them to make impactful positive change.

  • TWG offers training curated for your unique company and teams in a variety of formats and lengths. Jamie is a pedagogical expert who is highly skilled in classroom management which makes him uniquely qualified to take on complex, and sometimes emotionally intense, topics and present them to a diverse group of learners.
